NEWSLETTER7 January 2012
I wish you all a wonderful and happy 2012!!
My last newsletter was in October 2011 and I must say my life was in absolute “chaos” the last 3 months!. Although I have to say it was a “nice” chaos!. Moose Valley– yes by now you all know about Moose Valley Nature Reserve.
Moose Valley Nature Reserve (28 plots) came on the market the 1stof December 2011 – priced from R250 000 – R350 000 and 70ha – 200ha. We sold 5 within the first week. Then the Country Life advertisement came out– more chaos!!!. Today, 6 weeks later, we have 4 left!!! Thank you to each and every one making the call. Was a great boost to our little town with nothing - guesthouses were fully booked - the Vanwyksdorp Mall (my office!) were crowded from the morning till late and the Barking Frog Coffee shop were open from 8h00 till late in the afternoon. The people I have to thank is my husband – Almon - he was a tremendous help on weekends – I left Saturday mornings at 8h00 and walk in at 20h00 in the evening. Fire burning, snacks, food prepared for the barbecue and a nice ice cold glass of white wine! My son Jurgen (17) was obviously without a mom! but he enjoyed his (our) holiday at Still Bay – having the campsite for himself! Sharon at the Barking Frog Coffee Shop –thank you my friend for feeding me during the day - sometimes my warm breakfast toastie for lunch but I survived!! I reallyappreciate it.
We also had a very good last 2011 quarter and sold 5 properties in and around Vanwyksdorp. Small properties, but we are looking forward to meet up with the new owners at our next “Big Bash” at Lusthof Farm. Coming up soon.
New Year Eve - Barking Frog Coffee Shop. What a wonderful evening with new people around us – some from Gauteng to spend their Christmas and New Year with us. Was great meeting you and again to Sharon and Garth – thanks for the venue and Brian and Joyce for their drive way!.
